Pre-K Soccer

Zach started pre-K co-ed soccer at the YMCA this fall, and he's now crazy about soccer. Its a good sport for his energy and feisty-ness. He was super-excited when we shopped for shoes, shin guards and a ball, super-excited to play in the backyard with Daddy and Evan, super-excited on our way to the first practice...then not-so-excited when we arrived.

But once he warmed up to playing with his team, he's enjoyed the season, which sadly is only six weeks long and ends this week. The good news is that there's a spring season, and he can play with his team -- The Green Machine -- again.

Pregame instructions from Coach

Ready to play...he insists on tucking his shirt in. He was hiking his shorts up to his chest, but we've worked through that fashion faux pas. :)

Put me in, Coach, I'm ready to play

Poor Evan has had to sit on the sidelines during practices and games. He's been a trooper, playing soccer or other games with other little brothers/sisters or searching for bugs, sticks, or cool leaves. He'll be able to play on Zach's team next Spring. Watch out, world, Zach and Evan together on a team could mean serious trouble. They're wild when they play together!
