Zach's Christmas Program at Preschool

Zach's preschool Christmas program was last Sunday. The two 3 year old classes sang several Christmas songs and their teacher told their version of the Christmas story.

We were told we had to arrive early so the kids could get into their costumes, so I asked Zach what he was going to be for the show. He told me first that he was going to be a monster, then he said a reindeer. Imagine our surprise when we saw our little angel complete with a halo!

Zach is pretty shy, so he wasn't all that into singing and dancing in front of the crowd, but he did stand up on stage for the entire performance. Afterward, he told me he was resting during the show. Say what? The show was during naptime, but usually Zach doesn't willingly rest just because its naptime. Three year olds come up with the most interesting things!

Evan was a little ham during the show. After one song, he said "Yay" and clapped so loudly at the perfect time that families sitting around us chuckled, and one of the teachers asked if Evan was the little cheerleader she heard during the program.
