Christmas with My Dad's Family

For more than 30 years, my Dad’s family – his two brothers, their wives, and their daughters (five of us cousins, all girls; no boys in the family) – has been getting together the weekend before Christmas. We had a yummy lunch at my Aunt and Uncle's house, followed by a heated gift exchange game.

The boys weren't feeling very photogenic...

It was so good to see everyone, although two of my cousins couldn’t make it. Now that all of us are adults with jobs, some with husbands and kids, some living a good distance from home, its hard for everyone to get together. I remember how much fun we used to have playing together at the annual Christmas gathering when we were little. Wow, where have the years gone?
