The boys have been more and more interested in drawing, coloring and painting. We have a mini-art gallery in a little hallway off the kitchen, which holds an ever changing display of the boys' artwork hung from cafe curtain rods and curtain clips. I thought I'd share some of their recent artwork today.
Zach draws almost every day after school, spending lots of time creating detailed artwork. He's been writing little captions to go along with his artwork. Sometimes he can spell everything in his own, other times he needs a little help.
This is a picture of his teacher, the mailboxes in his classroom and their ActivBoard.
Zach drew the picture above after looking at this picture from Aesop's Fables.
He asked me to write the title under the picture.
This is a zebra at the zoo. To the right is a pig, but he wasn't happy with it, so he crossed it out.
Zach made the above picture at school, and wrote "Zach is fish" (fishing).
In the past, Evan hasn't been too interested in any kind of artwork. But as his fine motor skills improve, his interest is growing. Here are a couple of projects he brought home from preschool:
He loves glitter
A "storm" he painted with water colors.
