Zach brought me this pretty leaf because he knows how much I like fall leaves.

Hi Mom!
Passing out candy on our front steps.
Evan is a candy fiend (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!), and kept telling us, "I want more candy" when we were trick-or-treating. While we were handing out candy, Evan would give some out, then try to eat a bunch. Towards the end of the night, we went inside to wait for trick-or-treaters since it was so cold. Evan kept watch over the door, and would scream "More trick-or-treaters!" every time he saw some coming, then he'd fill up his hands with candy to give out. He'd say "He's scary!" when he was afraid of some of the masks.
Zach helped give out candy too, but for the most part, he was content to sit on the steps, eat candy, and watch Evan do all the work. Zach's favorite part of Halloween is always the awesome treat bag our neighbors Jackie and Lonnie give the boys. The bags were full of cool stuff preschoolers love: some candy and chips, a whistle, a neat Halloween cup, crayons and markers, PlayDoh, and bubbles -- a whole lunch sack jam packed with goodies. Once we visited Lonnie and Jackie's house, Zach couldn't have cared less about the candy or going to any more houses.
We had hot chocolate and a little candy before bed - a nice end to such a fun evening!
