Back to School

Zach started his second year of preschool last week. Unfortunately I was home sick, so Craig took him to school. When they arrived, Zach clung to Craig and didn't want to stay at school...this is the same kid who spent the weeks leading up to the start of the school year talking about it, and woke up ready to go that morning. He loved preschool last year, missed it when summer vacation started, and already knows his teacher and several of his classmates, so we thought the first day would be a piece of cake...wrong.

Thankfully there were no tears or screaming, but Craig had to peel Zach off of himself to leave.

When Zach came home after school, he said the day went well. They made small paper watches, which he wore on his wrist all night with his real Diego watch. He was excited to go back on the second day, so I guess it was just first day jitters!
