Saturday in the Park

Saturday was our adoption agency's annual reunion picnic, which draws hundreds of families with children from Brazil, China, Guatemala, India, Russia, and Vietnam. It was great to see the friends we met through the boys' adoptions, and FTIA always does such a nice job on the picnic. The boys played on the playground, ran around the park, and Evan rode the carousel. Zach got on the carousel twice, and changed his mind twice just before it started.

On Sunday, the boys and I headed to Auntie's house for a trip to the county fair. Zach and Evan adore their Aunt and Uncle, and always look forward to seeing them. Poor Uncle Bo got a workout from the boys jumping and climbing on him. Auntie took the day off on Monday, and we headed to the fair bright and early. Its a good thing since it started raining a couple of hours after we got there. Luckily we'd visited most of the animals and eaten some yummy mini-donuts by the time it rained.

The boys fell asleep in the car when we left the fair, so we drove to Shipshewana to do a little shopping. After a delicious Amish lunch, the rain had stopped, so we went on a horse and buggy ride. Thanks for taking the day off to spend with us, Auntie!

The pics of the boys with the photographers props are cute! Wish we could have chatted more, but it was great to see you guys!
